Early bird rates are still available for The British Psychological Society Annual Conference 2014.
Our flagship event is 7-9 May at the International Convention Centre (ICC) Birmingham.
You can register via the conference website, where you will find full details of the rates – including accommodation packages. Early bird rates apply until 26 March.
The themes for our 2014 Annual Conference are:
• Psychology and war
• The psychology of family, parenting and caring
• The psychologist as expert
• New directions in human neuroscience
Keynote speakers include, Professor Sir Simon Wessely; Ben Shephard; Susan van Scoyoc; Professor John Aggleton and Professor Marinus van IJzendoorn. There will be a mix of workshops, symposia, oral and poster presentations throughout the conference. Winners of the Society’s awards will be presented with their awards and will give talks. Broadcaster, journalist and psychology student Sian Williams is the guest speaker at the conference dinner on Thursday 8 May. Read her recent article on the responsibilities of broadcasters towards the people they interview in The Psychologist.
