Mr. Mrs. Joseph Yilek of Tama, IA announce the engagement of their daughter, Jodi Ann Yilek, to Christopher James Sanders.

Jodi is a graduate of Hawkeye Community College with a degree in Medical Laboratory Technology, Upper Iowa University with a Bachelor’s in Psychology, is currently working on her Master’s degree. She is currently employed at McFarland Clinic as an MLT. Christopher served as a Marine for six years, doing two tours in Iraq. He is currently going to school full-time for software engineering at Marshalltown Community College and ISU.

The couple is living in Le Grand, IA as first-time homeowners with their daughter, Emma. They were engaged on February 14, 2011 and will exchange vows on May 5, 2012 at Hope United Methodist Church in Marshalltown, IA. A reception will follow at Meskwaki Convention Center in Tama.
